Muntjac volume 1.
What we’re looking for in this issue:
- We’re centring autonomous community defence both in recent memory and our history and traditions
- Writing on other topics is very much welcome – send it over!
- We want your articles, interviews, essays, prose, poetry, communiqués, and anything else you can think of.
- This can be your original writing, your translations, or republishing previous work.
- You don’t need to be an intellectual or write in an academic register.
Word limit:
- No minimum length
- Maximum length: no more than 4 sides of A4 paper
However, if you fancy making your longer articles into a standalone zine with us, get in touch.
Why we want it:
As our comrade Mutt so clearly put it:
[…] We all know about Black and Asian anarchists who are in this-or-that group or who are involved in this-or-that project, but there’s very little content that centres our voices, our desires and our praxis.
Reflected in our current theme of autonomous self-defence, the militancy of racialised communities is our starting point. We’re also very much open to any kind of writing that springs forth from that militancy: by making a gathering place for this creativity and knowledge, we’re not only building a useful archive but also the energy we need to engage, celebrate and agitate together.
How to submit:
- Plain text emailed to: fawnarchy@grrlz.net
(This is so we can easily format.) - Multiple and simultaneous submissions are fine
